Lake Pleasant Farm is a regenerative cattle operation built on family values, eco-conscious design, and deep respect for the land and the healthfulness of what we produce. Our farm is proudly family owned and operated, with each cabin and trail infused with the care and vision of generations past and present.​​​

We practice rotational grazing, multi-species diversity infused cropping, no-till, and low-impact land management that restores soil health, promotes biodiversity, and supports long-term sustainability.​​​​​

Sustainable Comfort, Naturally: Our passive solar cabins are designed to breathe with the climate, using solar power and harvested rainwater to minimise our impact and maximise your enjoyment.​​

University Partnership

 

We're dedicated to helping local farmers restore land and build resilience. Our work has been deeply rooted in a collaborative research partnership with the University of Queensland (UQ) and the Fitzroy Basin Association (FBA) to identify and validate agricultural approaches that:

• Increase drought resilience.

• Increase carbon sequestration in soil.

• Improve soil health and enhance soil properties, fostering biodiversity.

• Increase farm profitability.
